臺灣一葉蘭是1909年阿里山林場開發(fā)之初，
由日本植物學家所發(fā)現，並於國際發(fā)表，
讓臺灣一葉蘭首次躍上國際舞臺。

一葉蘭為臺灣原生種高山蘭花，
一花一葉的獨特外觀及優(yōu)雅花色姿態(tài)，
花期主要為4至6月，
入秋之後以球莖冬眠，
只發(fā)一葉，故名一葉蘭。

The Pleione formosana Hayata was discovered ,
when the Alishan Forest Farm was developed,
by the Japanese botanist.
And the botanist published the pleione internationally,
making the pleione leap onto the international stage for the first time.

The Pleione formosana Hayata is an alpine orchid native to Taiwan.
It has a unique appearance  of one flower and one leaf.
The flowering period is mainly from April to June,
and it hibernates in bulbs after autumn. At that time,
there is only one leaf, hence the name one-leaf orchid.
